Help Chevrolet Pick One of Their Super Bowl Commercials

As of the beginning of the month, every single $3.5-million, 30-second ad spot available for the 2012 Super Bowl has been snatched up. That's right, the slots are sold out. So, even if you had a few million dollars and an ad campaign up your sleeve, you'd be out of luck. Unless of course, you want to help Chevy pick one of their four commercials set to run during the big game.

That's right, this year, Chevrolet is asking their fans to get in on the fun. This isn't the first time they're asking other people to help out - earlier this year, the automaker opened up the commercial pool to filmmakers from around the globe with their Chevrolet Route 66 Project, and hundreds of people sent in submissions. Chevy narrowed it down to 35 of the best, and now they're asking fans to log on and vote for their favorites. Sign in and share, and you could win $10,000.

Commercials range from the funny to the heartwarming, touching on all of the ways that Chevy Runs Deep. Joel Ewanick, Company VP and Global Marketing Chief Officer says, "With Chevrolet Route 66, we wanted to tap into the talents of creative people from every corner of the Earth to discover our next Super Bowl Ad...the submissions we received show that people from around the world share many of the same values and how Chevrolet plays a role in helping them along life's road."1

Even if you don't want to win, head over to ChevroletRoute66.MSN.com to create an account, view the commercials up for the spot, and share them with your friends. Whether you win or lose, you can still say you were a part of Super Bowl history, but, here's a tip: the more you share, the better chance you have of winning the Grand Prize.

But you only have until January 25th to vote. You can catch the winner during Super Bowl XLVI on February 5th. And in the meantime, Connell Chevrolet invites you down to our showroom at 2828 Harbor Blvd Costa Mesa, CA 92626 to learn more about the cars featured in the ads, including the Chevy Volt, 2012 Cruze, and Chevrolet Silverado, just to name a few.
